Suzanne Woods Fisher has become one of my favorite authors. This book certainly didn't disappoint me. In fact, it made me want to go back and read the first book in the series, all while eagerly awaiting the next book. This book kept me glued from page 1 to page 320. While this is the second book in the series, I had no trouble picking it up and reading it without having read the first. All of the characters were well developed and you felt as if you were a part of the community, watching and waiting to see what would happen next. Honestly, if you love Amish fiction, you're going to love this book.

I found this book to be enjoyable reading. The characters are so real. I fell in love with them all.
I am still reading book one of this 2 book series. I am so excited about he story line and am sure book 2 will hold my interest as well, wanting to finish to get to book 3. Suzanne has been added to my top 3 favorite authors because of her story lines and you want to continue to read till the very end.
After reading book ! in this series, I knew I wanted to find out what happens to the other characters. I enjoyed this book a great deal. The characters are interesting, make me smile and have real life problems.
Interesting twists to a Amish community. I love to read believable stories. Amish written as a supportive community that have problems and solutions that include prayer and Miracles from God.
A great read. I am hoping there will be another book to follow. I would like to know what happens to the different characters in the book
I really like this series so far... just when I thought I could predict the outcome of a situation, the author does a great job of throwing a curve ball. Well done! If you need a little faith in your life, these Amish fiction books are great.
Many things happen that we don't understand. And I like the way this book reveals that in difficult time we can draw closer to God. And in God's Time He will reveal what is going on when we are ready to know. Great book
I have read several of Ms. Fisher's books and this series is one of my favorites! She writes several series books and I recommend that you read them in order or to me you will miss some rich character developments and plots that would not make sense otherwise. This series has me glued to it all through my Christmas break. The storylines and characters are not what you might expect from the Amish community. This series starts out with a widow with children that is living with her very cranky mother in law. I love how this series weaves the lives of the Inn guests to the owners and the many interesting plot twists. I gave it five stars for the way it was well-written.
